Background

 

The Sebokeng Educational Institute of Sports Development (SEISD) is a Non-Profit organization registered under the South African department of social development. We are operating under two directors and two registered executive members who contribute their time in running the organization on a day to day basis.

SEISD is committed in meeting its mission and vision in an ethical way that will add value to the community and the country as a whole. We are having challenges of different magnitudes in our community and we have put a plan in place that will address these challenges, at the same time we are looking to having a plan that will be sustainable throughout.

The organization is having a number of volunteers and they normally assist with day to day activities such as coaching and tutoring.

Our mission is to educate people in sports and academics and create growth opportunities for individuals to empower the nation.

Our vision is to become one of the best educational institutes that will be sustainable and recognized world-wide.

Objectives

Short term objectives

​

Our short term goals includes having a number of participants to establish other sporting codes and educational programs. We are expecting to obtain more participants as we are growing, and this growth will also expose our potential to future clients that will be connected to us.

We encourage competition, so with more participants, we surely expecting them to compete at any level.

 

Intermediate objectives

 

Our intermediate goals includes having a sustainable project that will give our participants exposure and that will challenge our organization in achieving its mission and vision. Project SEISD is underway, the only challenge we are facing is regarding resources, we do not have enough resource to move on to the next phase of the project, but meanwhile we approaching businesses and individuals for sponsorships and donors, we are doing very well regardless. We have managed to get through the group stages of the winter tournament we participate in recently, this shows growth and development within the organization.
