Detailed review of why we do what we do.
The Sebokeng Educational Institute of Sports Development comes a long way with it's vision and mission being the sole purpose to keep pushing. We are proud to announce our participation in local tournaments and we are looking at options whereby we will be expanding our horizons.
The participants are happy with the work we have done for them thus far and going forward we just aiming at a bigger prize, and that is to keep on growing.

SEISD is determined to breaking barriers that exist within the society, the stigma of peer pressure being one of them. Young people are exposed to a lot of temptations that may put them in trouble and and could ruin their future if not managed in a correct manner.
SEISD provides tools and resources that may enable young people to think wisely and act with purpose. We have a commitment of producing extra ordinary talent within the institute and we aspire to meet our participants half way in terms of development in all areas of their life.

Since we have two different categories within the institute, namely the Education and Sports categories, a detailed explanation on how we implement them to our participants is given below.
Educational development
​
In this category we have three (3) different phases, namely, the foundation phase, intermediate and tertiary phase.
Foundation phase
This is where young participants from the age of 6 are taken on board and taught the basics of education and life skills, for example; writing, singing, playing, drawing, etc.
Intermediate phase
This is the phase where primary school and high school curriculum will be covered. Afternoon classes in different subjects are carried out throughout the week to assist our participants with their daily workload of school work.
Tertiary phase
This phase involves high school pupils and tertiary students, we empower our participants in giving motivational talks, attend career expos and life skills discussions. The contribution we put in is immense on this phase, this is where our youth is challenged with complex issues like, racism, drugs and substance abuse, sex, peer pressure, HIV/AIDS, etc.

Sports development
​
The sports category is focused on developing young professional athletes who can compete at any level given the opportunity to do so.
This category helps our participants to not only look for opportunities in education but also be active and stay fit at all times and have a variety of choices when choosing a career path in the sporting world.
SEISD strives on developing young people and enriching them with knowledge and skill.
In this category we have 5 different divisions, namely, under 9 (Grassroots level), 13, 15, 17 and senior teams.
Currently we are offering football in the sports category, we are looking for participants who will take part in different sporting codes as well.
Our divisions are participating in the local league named the Emfuleni Local Football Association.
In each division there are different challenges, so we have broken down our divisions to work in the following manner;
Training sessions are conducted at the SEISD Community Center where participants take part in football and netball currently. We have recently implemented netball with a single division, provided that we get volunteers and participants, we will have different age groups with netball also.
Conclusion
The organization is aiming to keep the hard work going by luring sponsors and partners and formulating new strategies in eradicating poverty within the community, but initially we are focusing on what we are busy with and hopefully in the nearest future we can plan on implementing new strategies.
These projects are just the beginning of many good things to be done by SEISD on behalf of the Sebokeng community, as we are a striving organization, we are happy that we are on a right direction progressing with positivity.
